Thousands joined us in honoring our servicemen and women at the Virginia’s Veterans Parade in 2012. Now in its fourth year and growing exponentially, the parade has brought back a valued American tradition of honoring our nation’s military service members for their sacrifice in support of our freedom.

The parade is held in downtown Roanoke, Virginia and features a colorful and exciting display of patriotism from parade participants and spectators.

New in 2012!

Meet and greet with some of our local veterans. Veterans and representatives of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets arrived early for Virginia's Veterans Parade. Spectators had the opportunity to shake a hand and thank a veteran before the parade at the Roanoke City Market Building.

Star City Cruisers

Veterans Rode in Style!

Star City Cruisers, who are mostly Veterans, extended an invitation to any Veteran that would like to ride in the car of their choice in the parade. Many veterans took them up on the offer and rode in style through downtown Roanoke during the 3rd annual Virginia's Veterans Parade.

Contact Darrell Holt of the Star City Cruisers at 520-6112 to make arrangements for a seat in a classic automobile in Virginia's Veterans Parade 2013.

Parade participants include military units from across Virginia, military marching units and individual veterans accompanied by military, college and high school bands. All combine to make this parade one of the largest Veterans events in Virginia.
